Innovation with Poznan University of Technology
In 2013, the "Steelcast" facility introduced a technological innovation with the participation of Poznan University of Technology and the support of European Union funds. These are acid-resistant castings for ball valves made of a high-chromium iron alloy (over 31% Cr). This material has high strength, hardness, and wear resistance, while remaining resistant to high temperatures up to 1200°C.
